Career FAQs

What is the recruitment process? -
We first advertise all vacancies on the Company Intranet, so that any internal candidates can apply and staff can recommend friends/ex-colleagues. After that our recruitment department begins to look for external candidates.

In response to enquiries our recruitment department will evaluate each candidate's suitability and forward to the hiring manager the details of those who most closely meet the specification. The hiring manager selects which candidates they wish to interview, and interviews are then scheduled.

For successful candidates we first make a verbal offer. When this is accepted we then send an offer letter, contract and all other relevant joining information.

For unsuccessful candidates feedback is given via our recruitment department.

How can I be notified of the latest vacancies? -

Please look at our website for current vacancies. We regret we cannot send automated updates.

What key skills and attributes are you looking for? -
Again, this very much depends upon the role. A job specification is always provided to potential candidates, and Agencies. Candidates are able to contact managers prior to interview to discuss the role if they wish.

What training do you offer? -
Training is identified between the individual and their line manager, and largely depends on the role/situation of each employee. Any technical training necessary to enable an employee to do their job would be provided.

Is there a social club? -
Not as such, but there is a Squash League that plays at lunch times, football played on a Tuesday Night, and various other social gatherings.

Do you have facilities for the disabled ? -
Yes, limited facilities. There is no-step entry to the ground floor of the building, and there are disabled toilet facilities, also on the ground floor. Any adaptive measures needed to meet the requirements of any disabled person would be addressed, as they arose, in line with the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act.

Are you an equal opportunities employer? -
Yes. We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, particularly on the grounds of Age, Disability, Gender Reassignment, Race, Religion or Belief, Sex, or Sexual Orientation.
